Yar Suk "Magic Tattoo Medicine"

A representation of the Stupa. A Stupa is a Buddhist monument used as a place of veneration and pilgrimage. It serves as a symbolic representation of the Buddha and his teachings, often housing relics of the Buddha or other revered figures. Stupas are not only places for offerings and blessings but also act as power spots for spiritual practice and transformation. 

19th-20th Century

"Yar Suk" figures are made of potent herbs and medicines and then blessed bestowing powerful magic upon the Amulet. The Tattooer would carve a small amount of "medicine" from the bottom of the "Yar Suk" and mix it with the tattoo ink which would pass on the power of the Amulet to the person receiving the tattoo.
