Thai Tattoo handle (Sak Yant)

This is an exceptionally rare and elegant bronze tattoo tool counter balance done in a Thai style.  The Buddha at the end of the handle is the closed eyed Buddha or Phra Pid Ta.

Sak Yant tattoos are traditional tattoos that have been practiced in Thailand for centuries. They are done by Buddhist Monks or Sak Yant masters who use a three piece tattoo tool called a Kem. The tool consists of a needle, tube, and counter weight or handle. Sak Yant tattoos are believed to have magical powers and are often used as protection against evil spirits or for good luck.
